Our Nurse
Lonna Edwards, RN lonna.edwards@misd.gs
I was born on a military base in South Carolina (hence the accent) but grew up in Odessa,Texas where I went to nursing school and got my start in neonatal intensive care. However, I found my true love in school nursing where I worked for 8 years before moving to Midlothian.
I have been married to Jeff for 25+ years and am the mother to two grown boys, Philip who just graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and Ethan who just graduated from Culinary School.
My wish for JAV is to take my skills to champion student learning, improve student health and decrease absenteeism even in these uncertain times. Being a positive role model and a team player are very important to me.
I am a Bible learner, lover of digital scrapbooking, quotes and all things furbaby.
